The Agreement regulates cooperation on prevention of great natural and anthropogenic risks and their prediction, training of civil protection participants, and rendering of voluntary and mutual assistance in the event of calamities or accidents.
Under the Agreement, cooperation can take the form of assistance and consulting on the organization of rescue operations; drawing up of acts on civil protection and plans of rescue operations in the emergency situations; training of the participants of rescue operations; investigation of issues of common concern in the sphere of prediction, prevention, assessment and management of emergencies; exchange of experts, information and documentation on civil protection.
